L-PRF™
This video provides an introduction, overview and review of the basic characteristics regarding L-PRF. This autologous material accelerates the body’s own normal healing processes and is strong, pliable and suitable for suturing. These characteristics make it an excellent choice for grafting, extraction sites and implant applications. When graft material is suspended in the fibrin matrix handling characteristics are dramatically improved. In addition there is ample working time since L-PRF is stable at room temperature for several hours.
Why L-PRF?
L-PRF is a 3-D autogenous combination of Platelet Rich Fibrin derived from the patientís blood. This video provides a basic introduction to the procedure and its efficacy. This natural fibrin network is rich in platelets, growth factors and cytokines.
IntraSpin / L-PRF™
Step-By-Step Overview
This video provides a step-by-step overview of the protocol for the production of L-PRF utilizing of the IntraSpin System. A simplified chairside procedure results in the production of a thin, compressed layer of platelet rich fibrin that is strong, pliable and suitable for suturing.
PRF-Block™
This video demonstrates how L-PRF™ combines with your biomaterial of choice, in a predictable protocol called PRF-Block™. The biomaterial is captured into the fibrin matrix increasing its handling and biologic proficiency.
IntraSpin Installation
The IntraSpin™ System is intended to be used for the safe and rapid preparation of autologous platelet rich fibrin (L-PRF) from a small sample of blood at the patient’s point of care. This video is to aid the installation of the system prior to it's fist surgical use.
Blossom®
BLOSSOM® is a self-tapping dental implant architecture. This engineering technology (patent pending) eliminates the need for conventional flutes and vents that traditionally define self-tapping implants. It is intended to mitigate the high compressive forces that build up when conventional tapping segments become clogged with bone debris (crowding), which can unnecessarily increase insertion torque. This video illustrates this design through animation and referenced testing.
Numerous scientific papers have been published on OSSEAN®. They report the remarkable performance of this surface compared to others, particularly immediately after implant placement and during the initial phase of healing. The very nature of the healing chain has been reported to be changed and shortened.
